Our next, “I Am A Church Member” New Members Class will take place online and in- person on Saturday, March 25 from 10 am to 1 pm. Come and learn more about what it means to be a part of the body of Christ in this local church including our mission, vision, and history. Continental breakfast and lunch will be served.

Calling all senior high school students that reside in Will County! Will County Board Member, Denise Winfrey will award a $12,000 scholarship to a Will County student. Hurry and apply before April 1, 2023. For more information or to grab a copy of the application, visit mtolivejoliet.org or stop by the information table in the lobby after today’s worship service.
Denise Winfrey, President of the National Association of Counties (NACo) and Will County Board Member for District #6, will award a $12,000 scholarship to a Will County student.
The David Davenport Scholarship is awarded each year by the NACo President. Since Will County is home to the current President, a student from Will County will be chosen.
The student receiving the scholarship will get $3,000 per year paid to their school account for four years.
The National Hook Up of Black Women (NHBW), Joliet Chapter which administers several other scholarships will serve as the selection committee. Applications will be available through schools, County Board Members, or on the NHBW Joliet Chapter website.
To be eligible for the award, students must be Will County residents and submit an application with picture and transcript postmarked by April 1, 2023, to:

The winner will be notified by May 15th. The award will be made during the NACo annual conference in July. This year, the conference will be held in Harris County, (Austin)Texas. The selected student along with a chaperone(s) will be invited to attend.
President Winfrey will make the presentation during the conference.
