Special Announcement

In light of the current hardships facing many in our community—including the recent loss of SNAP and EBT benefits and the financial strain caused by the government shutdown—Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, in collaboration with NuMark Credit Union, has made the decision to postpone the Legacy Builders Financial Empowerment Event originally scheduled for this month.

We recognize that this is a time when many are focused not on building wealth, but on simply making ends meet. Out of respect for our community’s present needs, we do not want to appear tone-deaf or out of touch. We are committed to walking with our people, not just in prosperity but also through pain.

We look forward to rescheduling this event in March 2026, when we can better serve and support our community's financial growth. For now, we will direct our attention and energy towards empowering the local food pantries that are diligently serving our communities with compassion and care.
